Mice and Men, or is it Mice and Rats?

During the day, I find myself visiting three countries and sometimes taking the human plane down the stairs to the kitchen. But mostly, I travel between the master bedroom country, the bathroom country and the study.
I wasn't really chewing wires, honest!

Wow the study is interesting. Full of nooks and crannies - and wires!

And then there's that Google thing, I am giving it a miss for the moment. It couldn't handle the number of characters I typed in the url search yesterday.

Maybe Google doesn't believe in infinity?

So, after having a good chew at the iPhone sync cord, I noticed that there was a contraption that my human kept moving around.

It definitely required some investigation.

Where is the head?
The perplexing thing about this contraption is that it is called a mouse. A computer mouse. So, I suppose it belongs to the computer?

And there is that Google thing again.
Now, how does this move?

Strange.

So I took a look.

I thought that a mouse was supposed to have a head.

And a tail.

This is definitely not the right type of mouse to be playing cat and mouse with.

I think my human realised as this afternoon she brought me a white rat with a pink tail.

This is just the best!
Practicing my rat catcher skills

Finally, I get to practice my rat and mice catching and killing skills!

This will come in very useful at some point in time.

I am not quite sure why it will be useful.

So far I have not encountered any rats or mice in the three countries I have visited, nor the one down the stairs.

Although, I have met the huge fluffy white cat again. I am getting rather skilled at Christmas-treeing my tail and giving him a scare.

I suppose that is what you call a scaredy cat.

Adventures on my new planet

I went for an explore today. I tried a different country, it was called the master bedroom. It was huge!

I think there are some more countries to explore, but that involves going down stairs and I am not sure I can do that yet - they've got gaps and I might fall through.

Well, the master bedroom country was so immense that I got lost by the curtains and ended up slightly upset. I decided after that to spend some quality time near my pet carrier.
I am giving adventure a rest for a while
It wasn't long before I decided to play hide and seek with one of my new humans. I found an excellent spot, just behind the bed.

There is a little nook, where the lights are - Titus sized for now.
Googling around
After lunch, I tried my paws at some technology.

I tried googling, but all I got in response was the message:

'this is an error'

Not much good this Google thing.

Cuddles are cool
The advantage of having a few humans is that you get cuddled a lot.

This is rather nice when you are tired or if you want to play.

I think I could star in the next Greek hero film

And sometimes they find a Titus-sized basket so I can practice being the figurehead of a ship.

Posing for the Camera

Taking a selfie means adjusting the focus
When having your photograph taken, it is extremely important that you are in the right frame of mind and in the right part of the frame.
However, if you are a bouncy, cheeky kitten, then the apparatus that is being used to take the photograph is extremely interesting.

Striking a pose
I have never heard of Madonna. Well, what do you expect? I am only 10 weeks old and I am not yet up on music and other things.

However, I did hear that she recommends that you strike a pose.
And here I am looking ultra cute

So I did.

All this excitement and jumping around made me rather sleepy.

Not sure about the rabbit with the carrot

So I had an early night.

You never know what adventures are waiting around the corner or under the sink, the bed, the sofa, or on the desk, tomorrow.

When meeting a larger cat

Make like a sideways Christmas Tree

Excitement. I got to ride in a car. They are rather strange animals as you can get inside them. Not your usual animal. They have things called doors that open and then they make a growly noise as they move forward and a beeping noise when they move backwards.

I think I prefer being a kitten. When I grow up, I am definitely going to be a cat, not a car.

Whoa! I stepped out of my carry basket into a completely different world. I found a pink handbag with a long strap that was really good to chew.

Kate Spade handbags are great to chew

And after that, I decided to have a little walk around. My back legs don't work that well still, so I look like John Wayne just off his horse. I don't have a horse, but I think I might have been born in the Year of the Horse. I wonder if that means I might grow up to be a horse not a cat?

It was then that I met him. Or rather I bumped into him while I was dashing around having an explore. That's what cats are supposed to do, so I need to practice: explore and be curious.

He was a really huge fluffy white cat. He stood and looked at me. How silly is that? I mean everyone has seen a Titus kitten bounding and bouncing around.

Instinctively, I knew. When in danger, I had to turn sideways and make like an angry Christmas tree with a spiky bog-brush tail. I gave him a hiss for good measure too. To my surprise, it worked and he ran off.

When in danger, make like a sideways, spiky Xmas tree!

Way to go!

I am Titus the scary cheeky cat!

Then one of my new humans who wears a bell around her neck took me up some stairs to another universe where I could play and then sit on her lap - I like bells - maybe I could be a Tibetan cat?

When she leant over her desk, I managed to grab hold of the prayer ball with the bell that she was wearing.

What excellent fun all of this is.

Kitten nap
It does get rather tiring though.

So I think I better take a cat - or in my case, because I am not a cat yet - kitten nap.

My Name is Titus

Hello, my name is Titus.

I am not sure what it was before, but it is Titus now.

I decided to start a blog because there are not many cats or humans or anything really, that gets to have an adventure like I am having before they are 10 weeks old.

I am a cat. Well, a kitten really, but I will be a cat when I grow up.

I am not sure what happened to my mummy or the rest of my family. I was just there wandering around one day when a really kind lady found me and gave me a cuddle.

She took me to a place called Namly Veterinary Clinic, where I got checked out by a cool Vet, Dr Ling and given something to make sure I didn't have wormy things inside me and other things.

It was all rather scary really, but they don't call me Titus for nothing!

I wasn't called Titus then, but I think I knew that was what my name was going to be.

Unfortunately, the nice lady who found me wasn't able to keep me.

So I had to find a new home. I suppose I was alright wandering around the streets, but it can get a bit scary at night or if you fall in a storm drain.

As luck would have it, another Vet called Dr Oksana Bodnaruk knew a family who had just lost one of their cats - so by looking ultra cute, I managed to find a way to cheer them up. And now I am on my way to adopt them as my family!
